Each disc contains pdf format files with an introduction, codes, and transcriptions arranged in alphabetical order by surname. Contains surname, given name, position, age, county of birth, seamen ticket number, previous ship, current ship, date joined, place joined, date left, place left, why left, and comments.
Contains listings of ships connected to the ports of Arbroath, Montrose, and Dundee.
System requirements: Windows 3.1 and 95/98/ME. The files are in Acrobat pdf format. Acrobat Reader is included on each disc. Apple Mac and Unix users need to download a reader from www.Adobe.com/acrobat.
