Where can I find research suggestions in Family Tree?

On the FamilySearch website, Family Tree identifies opportunities to improve the information that Family Tree has about a person. The opportunities are called "research suggestions." 

When a person has a research suggestion, Family Tree displays a purple icon: .

Steps (website)

  1. In Family Tree on the FamilySearch.org website, display the person in one of the places where research suggestions are shown:
    • The person page. The suggestions are displayed on the Details tab in the Research Help section on the right side of the page.
    • The Landscape, Portrait, Fan Chart, Descendancy, and First Ancestor tree views. (If research suggestions are not currently being displayed on the Landscape, Portrait, and Descendancy tree views, click the Options icon. or and then Research suggestions. On the Fan Chart, simply click the Research Helps option.)
  2. To view more information about a suggestion, click the purple icon: .
