Periodically in Family Tree, you may see many new data problems (red exclamation point icons) or research suggestions (purple arrow icons) on a person whose record did not used to have any of them.
Some users have worried that these icons were caused by a mass data change or system error. Instead, one of the following probably occurred.
- Another user made a change that caused an icon to appear. Check the change history to see if this happened.
- Family Tree began checking for new data problems or research suggestions. Use this new information to see if you can improve the person's information in Family Tree.
