Family Tree identifies opportunities to improve the information that Family Tree has about a person. These opportunities are called "research suggestions." The following table lists all of the research suggestions, describes when they appear, and indicates whether the suggestion can be dismissed.

Couple May Have Children | Evidence of a marriage shows, but no children show. | Yes |
Missing Vital Event | The person does not have at least one vital event (birth, christening, death, or burial) that contains a year. | No |
No Sources Attached | This person has no sources attached to his or her information. | No |
Person May Have a Spouse | There is no evidence of the marriage, but this person lived long enough to be married. | Yes |
Person May Have Another Spouse | There is no evidence of another marriage, but this person lived long enough after the last spouse passed away to marry again. | Yes |
Person May Have Children | The person is 15 or older but has no spouse or children listed. | Yes |
Possible Missing Child | This research suggestion appears when one or more of these situations occurs:
