Make Discoveries
Try these experiences to explore what information we may have about your family.
Quick Search
Choose an ancestor or family member. Then fill in as much of his or her information in the search form as you can. Search results will include matches from our historical records, memories, Family Tree, and last name databases.
Tip: Not sure what to put in some of the form fields? Just give your best guess, or leave it blank.
Try Surname Search
Enter your last name to find its meaning and origin. Your last name can give you clues into who you are and where you came from.
Consider a DNA test
DNA testing can provide information about your family that can’t easily be found any other way. It’s as simple as spitting into a tube or running a cotton swab on the inside of your cheek. The results can reveal your ancestral homelands. They can also introduce you to distant cousins that may know part of your family story.
