First Step Challenge:

On a PC or a mobile device set up a FamilySearch account. If you are using a mobile device, download the Family Tree App. If you already have an account help a friend or a family member set up a free FamilySearch account.

Locating Your FamilySearch Username

After successfully logging in to FamilySearch, you can change your account information. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Select your name or username in the upper right corner next to Messages. A drop-down menu will appear.

Step 2: Select Settings. You will be taken to your Account page. On the toolbar underneath the photo banner, you can navigate to:

• Profile
• Account
• Notifications 
• Permissions

Step 3: On the Account tab under the Password and Recovery section, you can locate your FamilySearch Username.
