Guest Services
We can help convert old medium
The FamilySearch Library Guest Services, located on the main floor, offers conversions of old technology like 5 ¼ inch soft floppy disks and 3 ½ inch hard floppy disks. We can help you open old PAF 2.31 data or backup files to create usable GEDCOM files and help you move them into FamilySearch Family Tree. We also have a Macintosh computer to help save data from old disks.
Service missionaries are available to help you learn to digitize all other forms of media on the second floor. You will need to stay with your film for the duration of the digitizing process.
