Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Judkins (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, Scotland, and Wales. Some focus in on (but not limited to) descendants of Robert Judkyn (died ca. 1531) of Brixworth, England, and of Job Judkins of Boston, Massachusetts, and of Samuel Judkins of Surry County, Virginia. Some Judkins progenitors settled in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Vermont, and Virginia in the 1600's-1700's. During the 1800's, some moved to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia (Canada), Brazil, New Zealand, and to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Later descendants also lived in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan (Canada), England, Wales, and in Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Maryland, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and elsewhere. Some have African American bloodlines.

Also includes some extracts of African American Judkins from in the 1850 Census and the Sussex County, Virginia marriage registers from 1816-1850. Also includes names of slaves.

Also includes the history of the J.B. Judkins Co. founded in 1857 by John B. Judkins (1835-1908) and Isaac B. Little (1832-1895) under the firm name of Judkins and LIttle.
