" ... Hans Larsen, was born July 8, 1896, in Lund Lyderslov Prests Amt., Denmark."--P. 10. He was the son of Lars and Maren Hansen Peterson. Hans " married the 8th of August, 1836, Eline Dorthea Stromberg Bentzen, who was born December 27, 1810 and died 9th of March, 1877 in Salt Lake City, Utah. "--P. 18. They became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1850 and on 20 December 1852 the family left for America on the ship "Forest Monarch". They sailed via England and arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah on 30 September 1853. Hans died 27 February 1876 in Salt Lake City. Their son, "John George Erastus Larsen, born 3rd September 1852 in Frelsers Church. Died 27th February, 1922, Salt Lake City, Utah."--P. 19 married Cicilie Marie Schmidt. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Colorado, California and elsewhere.

"Cecilie Marie Schmidt ... was born in Aarhus, Denmark, January 12, 1858, the daughter of Peter Nielsen and Mette (Rasmussen) Schmidt."--P. 1. On 3 September 1877 she married John George Erastus Larsen. They were later sealed in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Utah on 27 June 1878. They lived in Salt Lake City for a while before moving to Cache Valley in 1881, first to High Creek then to Newton in 1884 and later to Bear River City and Tremonton. Finally they returned to Salt Lake City. Cecilie studied obstetrics and became a qualified obstetrician. She helped numerous individuals throughout the years. Cecilie Marie Schmidt (Smith) Larsen died 26 August 1930. Her husband, John George Erastus Larsen, died 27 February 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah where both are buried in the Salt Lake City cemetery. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah, Idaho and elsewhere.
