Contains indexes alphabetically arranged by name of the deceased to Department of Public Health, Bureau of Vital Statistics certificates of death, giving name of the deceased, initials of spouse, age, and date of death. Place of death or county where death occurred is given in code.

Contains computerized indexes to California deaths, showing name of decedent, initials of spouse, social security number (if known), code number of county where death occurred, date of death, registrar number and state file number.
