There are two books identified as Book 2, both of which contain marriage records of the island of Hawaii. The one included in the indexes below also contains records of the city of Honolulu, and is identified below as "Book 2 (Honolulu).".

Registers housed in Archives of Hawaii contain a few records for 1896-1900.

Some birth index cards by name of father misfiled in the indexes by name of mother, and vice versa. Some other index cards may also be filed out of alphabetical sequence.

Records are in Hawaiian and indexes are in English.

Book 4A also includes marriage records of Molokai, 1863-1868, Maui 1874 (one marriage), and birth, marriage and death records of Honolulu, 1863-1880. The island of Hawaii marriages are on pages 953-956.
