How do I see my contributions to Family Tree?

In Family Tree, use the My Contributions feature to see how much information you added, a list of your changes, and the living and confidential people that you added.

Steps (website)

  1. Go to FamilySearch.org and sign-in.
  2. At the top of the screen click the Family Tree tab, then click My Contributions.
  3. To see how many persons, memories, and sources you added, click Stats. Then click the option for the type of information you want to see. Your stats come from the change history in Family Tree, which officially started in 2012. You cannot see any statistics from before then.
  4. To see a list of the changes you have made to people and relationships in Family Tree, click My Changes. In the top right, click Options to filter the changes list.
  5. To see the living and confidential people that you added, click Private People.

Steps (mobile app)

  1. While signed in to the Family Tree mobile app:
    • Apple iOS: In the bottom-right corner, tap the 3 lines.
    • Android: In the top-left corner, tap the 3 lines.
  2. Tap My Contributions.
  3. To see how many persons, memories, and sources you have added, tap Stats. Then tap the option for the type of information you want to see. Your stats come from the change history in Family Tree, which officially started in 2012. You do not see any statistics from before then.
  4. To see a list of the changes you have made to people and relationships in Family Tree, tap Changes. Then tap a person on the list to display the person page and make more changes.
  5. To see the living and confidential people that you added, tap Private Persons.

Steps (Family Tree Lite)

The My Contributions feature is not currently available in Family Tree Lite.
