You can add sources that provide evidence about a parent-child relationship.
Steps for website
- In Family Tree, display the person page of a child or one of the parents.
- If the details section of the page is not displayed, click Details.
- Scroll down to the Family section.
- To the right of the child’s name, click the pencil icon.
- Find Relationship Sources and click Add Source.
- Click Add New Source, Add New Memory Source, or Attach from Source Box. Use the Related articles to understand how to use each option.
- Add New Source allows you to create a source.
- Add New Memory Source takes you to your Memories Gallery. Select a Memory item to use as a source.
- To use a source you added to Source Box, choose Attach from Source Box.
Steps (mobile app)
You cannot add sources to parent-child relationships using the Family Tree mobile app. To view and manage sources, use the website.
Steps (Family Tree Lite)
