How do I add a story to Memories?

FamilySearch provides a way for you to share your own stories about your family.

Before you start

  • Carefully read the Submission Agreement for questions concerning your content.
  • The system times out after an hour. To avoid losing your work, remember to save often or you can copy and paste a completed story into the template.
  • Drag and drop doesn't work for uploading stories.
  • PDF files cannot be uploaded into the Stories feature, but they work very well in Documents.
