I had so much fun learning about my ancestors, which I amazingly found out had records going back to the 1500s.

I didn't get the name of the lady who helped me, but she was so nice and guided me through the process . I went from being someone that really was in different towards researching my family history to someone that just loves it!

I can't believe this place is free. They'll help you digitize your records or record your own memories in various ways. Everyone should use this incredible resource to set down their personal history and finally get all those home movies out of boxes in the basement. I wish I could spend a month here. Great activities for kids, too.

I loved this experience. I have been preparing my family tree on their website for a couple weeks. Once there, a wonderful guide helped me further understand the platform. I don’t wish I remembered her name! (She just started around last april, and is new to slc). I highly recommend coming here, but do try to get some tree mapping done before you come to make the most of it.
