United States Research: Mid-South Region Introduction

The Mid-South region includes the states of Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky and West Virginia. This class is an introduction to Mid-South research and the history and record sets these states have in common. Covered are land, probate, tax, church, military and court records. Also included are short overviews of records and helpful archives unique to each state.
