Beginning South Africa Research

The first of a three-part series, this lesson will introduce you to South African research. The class will first discuss historical events that affected South African research, then talk about the major record types that can assist you in finding your South African ancestors. Finally, the lesson will discuss naming patterns and peculiarities to researching in South Africa.
