On FamilySearch, some images have restrictions or limitations that determine who can see them or where you can see them. You can view some images at a partner site, sometimes for a fee. In some cases, you can gain access by visiting a FamilySearch family history center or an affiliate library.
Here is a list of the possible restrictions you can see as you use historical records.
Image Status Message | Who Can View the Image |

No image available. | FamilySearch has an index of the records available. It is possible that another website has the images. |
"Image not available" showing in a pink message box. | If you get this message, take these steps:
