Use the FamilySearch Center Portal to access family history websites and other services available to FamilySearch center patrons. FamilySearch centers make the portal the home page for each browser.
Access the FamilySearch Center Portal at https://www.familysearch.org/centers/portal.
Before you start
The FamilySearch Center Portal is for FamilySearch center use. You cannot use the portal in affiliate libraries.
Portal layout
- Above the portal title are links to FamilySearch.org. The FamilySearch logo opens the home page of FamilySearch.org. The other headings direct you to the respective sections of FamilySearch.org.
- FamilySearch Center Portal section has a link to find a center.
- Premium Family History Websites: While at a FamilySearch center, you have special access to premium family history sites. Click View all sites. If you do not see the list of sites, ensure the browser extension is installed and working by using the related article below (How do we use the FamilySearch Center Premium Content Browser Extension).
- Helpful Resources contains links and explanations for genealogical resources, classes and workshops, and One-on-One Assistance.
