Making the FamilySearch Center Services Portal the home page

Mozilla Firefox

1. Go to the FamilySearch Center Services Portal at https://www.familysearch.org/centers/portal.
2. To the left of the web address, click the Lock Icon. Drag it to the Home icon, and release it.
3. Click Yes.

Google Chrome

1. On the browser toolbar, click the Menu icon on the far right (looks like 3 dots).
2. Click Settings.
3. On the left, click On startup.
4. Click in the circle to select Open a specific page or set of pages, and click Add a new page.
5. Enter https://www.familysearch.org/centers/portal in the box, and click Add.
6. To add a home button to the menu bar, under Appearance, toggle the Show Home button switch.

Microsoft Edge

1. In the upper right corner, click the 3 dots.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click the 3 horizontal bars to the left of Settings.
4. Click On startup.
5. Click the circle to the left of Open a specific page or pages.
6. To the right of Pages, click Add a new page.
7. Enter the URL https://www.familysearch.org/centers/portal in the box.
8. Click Add.

Important Note: You must use the browser extension in order to use premium websites or view restricted historical records content. Currently, that extension is only available in the Chrome and Firefox browsers.
