How do I add my birth date or sex to my account?

Share

Some FamilySearch features, such as chat and creating a family group, require users to be over 18 years old. To use these features, you must add your birth date to your account information.

Note: If your FamilySearch account is linked to your Church record number, you cannot edit the birth date or sex on your account. The information comes from your Church membership record. If it is incorrect, please contact your ward or branch clerk.
