Please do not post patriarchal blessings online.
The official wording included in the cover letter sent by the Church History Department when they send a copy of a blessing is:
“We would like to remind you of the sacred nature of patriarchal blessings. Please bear in mind that the blessing should not be widely distributed.”
FamilySearch Photos and Stories would definitely qualify as “widely distributed.” Anything that is posted in photos or stories is available to everyone on the site.
