The word "together," with several translations of the word in other languages surrounding it on an orange background

For 15 years, RootsTech has provided a place for people to learn, share, and make life-changing family discoveries—together.

This year we are continuing to bring the world closer together as we discover our stories and see how we are all connected. This sense of unity and teamwork we strive for at RootsTech makes “Together” the perfect theme for our 2026 conference!

Where Is RootsTech 2026?

RootsTech, the world’s largest family history conference, is a worldwide event and can be experienced virtually across the globe. Over the years, RootsTech has gone from exclusively in-person, to exclusively virtual (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), to eventually becoming a hybrid conference, starting in 2023. Now you can experience RootsTech however you would like!

The paid, in-person conference will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 5–7 March 2026. You can also attend the conference online for free from the comfort of your own home.
