You can help, even if you don’t have experience in one of the above states. Soon we will also have the following areas where you can help as well:

- Family History for the Latter-day Saints
- Mention additional groups where you have experience, and we will begin creating additional specialist groups where we have the most volunteers.
How much time does it take to be a volunteer?
You can volunteer as much or as little time as you would like. And you choose when you want to receive calls.
Who is this pilot intended to serve?
Any patron of FamilySearch.org; anyone who is interested in learning more about their ancestors.
Is there training?
Yes. After you sign up, we’ll teach you about the tools you’ll need to be successful. It will include what your best resources are to help the patron, information about how our phone system works, what to do when you can't help the patron, etc.
