Nelson announced 17 new temples and urged us to rededicate our lives to Jesus Christ. He declared that the unprecedented pace of temple building has been set by the Lord, and he spoke of how temple blessings prepare us and the world for the Second Coming of the Savior.
Throughout the conference, Apostles, General Authorities, and General Officers of the Church also taught about the blessings, power, holiness, and covenant connection we can find as we go often to the Lord's house.
As with previous conferences, we've gathered teachings about the temple and family history that we'd like to share with you. We hope these teachings will inspire and uplift you, and we invite you to copy or download them and share them with your family and friends.

2021
"The Savior and His doctrine are the very heart of the temple. Everything taught in the temple, through instruction and through the Spirit, increases our understanding of Jesus Christ. His essential ordinances bind us to Him through sacred priesthood covenants. Then, as we keep our covenants, He endows us with His healing, strengthening power." —Russell M. Nelson (October 2021 General Conference)

"We have angels round about us today. President Nelson has said, '[In the temple,] you will learn how to part the veil between heaven and earth, how to ask for God’s angels to attend you.’” —Elder Ronald A. Rasband and President Russell M. Nelson (October 2021 General Conference)
2024
"All who worship in the temple will have the power of God and angels having ‘charge over them.’ How much does it increase your confidence to know that, as an endowed woman or man armed with the power of God, you do not have to face life alone? What courage does it give you to know that angels really will help you? " —President Russell M. Nelson (April 2024 General Conference)
"In the prayer of rededication [for the Manti Utah Temple], President Nelson petitioned the Lord that His holy house would essentially hold up all who entered the temple, 'that they may receive sacred blessings and remain worthy and faithful to their covenants . . . that this may be a house of peace, a house of comfort, and a house of personal revelation for all who enter these doors worthily.'" —Elder Ronald A. Rasband and President Russell M. Nelson (Manti Temple Dedicatory Prayer)
"We build temples to honor the Lord. They are built for worship and not for show. We make sacred covenants of eternal significance inside these sacred walls." —President Russell M. Nelson (Manti Temple Rededication)
