How do I cite a Chinese jiapu as a source in Family Tree?

Share

FamilySearch provides several ways to cite a Chinese jiapu as a source in Family Tree.

As you enter your Chinese genealogy into Family Tree, we encourage you to also attach the jiapu as a source. Doing so adds value to the information you are adding for generations to come.

Your jiapu is on FamilySearch

If your jiapu has been scanned and published in FamilySearch historical images, link the images to your ancestors in Family Tree.

Your jiapu is not on FamilySearch

If your jiapu is not on FamilySearch, you can still add it as a source:

Note: FamilySearch International has recently suspended access to certain Chinese family records as it reviews developments with respect to privacy laws, contractual agreements and technology requirements. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
