How do I print photos and documents in Memories?

The FamilySearch screen does not display a print button. Other options exist to print the photos or documents that you find about your ancestors.

Steps (website)

  1. While signed into FamilySearch, navigate to the memory you want to print.
  2. Click the item.
  3. You have four options:
    • Above the memory item, click Actions, then Download. Find the image on your computer, and print it.
    • Right-click in the image. Click Save image as. Find the image on your computer, and print it.
    • If a document is a Source, highlight it, then right-click, and select Print.
    • Print the memory item using your browser (Ctrl+P on most browsers; Command+P on a Macintosh computer)

Steps (mobile app)

  1. In the Family Tree mobile app, navigate to the person whose memory item you want to print.
  2. Tap Memories.
  3. Tap the item that you want to print.
  4. Tap within the item. On the toolbar are options:
    • Apple iOS: Tap the share icon. If you have a printer that you can access through your mobile device, tap Print. If you lack a printer you can access through your mobile device, tap Mail. You can email it to yourself and print later from your email.
    • Android: Tap the three dots in the top, right corner and tap Download. You can then open the file on your phone and print it from the options on your device. You can also tap the email icon to send it to yourself, and then print it from your email.
