Using Manuscript Collections

Dr. Deborah Abbott, PhD., will guide attendees through the process of using manuscripts and special collections in libraries, archives, and other repositories that are often overlooked. These collections usually are not completely indexed but knowing exactly where and what can be found in manuscript collections can produce a gold mine of information pertaining to African American ancestors.
