Chiefly ancestors and descendants of Harvey George and Margaret Jackson Dunham. Harvey George Dunham was born 24 May 1876 in St. Louis, Missouri to John and Emily Maria Peckham Dunham. He married Margaret Vest Jackson, the daughter of George Parke and Mary Vest Jackson, in 1904. Dunham ancestors include Deacon John Dunham who was born probably in Scrooby, England in 1589 and died 2 March 1669 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He married Abigail Wood, also born in England, on 17 October 1619 in Leyden Holland. She also died in Plymouth Massachusetts. Ancestors of Mary Jackson Dunham include "John Sneed [who] was for years Secretary to Thomas Jefferson"--P. 240. He died in 1856 in Kentucky at almost 101 years of age. Ancestor David Campbell was born 8 March 1706 in Ireland near Londonberry, then called Drumbaden. He emigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1726 and later married Ann Hamilton, daughter of Andrew Hamilton, in January,1735. "They lived in Augusta County in 1771, they moved to Holston to live, which was later called Washington County. David died October 19, 1790 ... "--P. 239. Ancestors and descendants lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Missouri, New York and elsewhere.
