A genealogy and a history of Ephriam McDowell born in 1673 in Ireland and his descendants. He married Margaret Irvine. They had 5 children. When he was 60 years old in 1733 he and his family immigrated to America. They lived in Delaware and Pennsylvania. In 1737 they settled in Virginia. Ephriam died in 1776 at the age of 104 years.
