Supplement no. 4 to work entitled: The Petty and Francis families and allied lines / by Zora Petty Billingsley. Amarillo, Tex. : Z.P. Billingsley, c1967. This supplement includes four generations of Petty ancestors of Thomas Jefferson Petty (1801-1877), back to Thomas Petty (ca.1675- 1748/1749) who lived in Richmond County, Virginia and married twice. Similarly, it includes four generations of ancestors of Robert Henry Francis (1805-1872), back to Thomas Francis (b.ca.1700), who married Priscilla Chenoweth; they were the parents of Samuel Francis (ca.1730-ca.1795) of Philadelphia. In addition, this supplement continues to list Petty and Francis descendants and relatives, chiefly in Georgia, Texas, Idaho, California, with some living in Florida, Missouri, Kansas, Arizona and elsewhere.

Includes Billingsley, Cullen, Hume, Langston, Tubbs and related families.
