Contains records from four Bibles. The Bible of William D. Price, published at Philadelphia, 1859; an old Duncan Bible; the Bible of Samuel S. Price, published at New York, 1859 and in the possession of L. Melvin Price, Russellville, Kentucky [1961]; and a McClure Bible, published in 1881, and in possession of Mrs. Owen R. Roads. Also contains copies of the following: Will of Daniel S. Dunscomb, Logan County, Kentucky, 1866 -- Will of John Price, written in 1846; probated in 1856, Logan County, Kentucky -- Will of John Price, Sr., written 1920; probated 1924, Logan County, Kentucky.

William Dixon Price (1799-1866) and Susannah Johnson (1807-1862) were married in 1822 in Logan County, Kentucky. They had thirteen children, 1825-1850. Their son, Samuel Summers Price (1832-1891), and Lizzie Sarah Jennings (1850-1893) were married in 1875. They had three children, 1876-1885.

John and Mary Johnson Price (d. 1822) had twelve children, 1780-1804. Their daughter, Susan Price (1795-1855), married a Duncan, perhaps William Duncan (d. 1856). They may have had three children. Daniel Dunscomb Duncan and Fannie Rosetta James were married in 1854. They had three children. Their son, William E. Duncan (1860-1898) married Jimmy Long. They had one son, Billy Duncan, who died in 1946 near Russellville, Kentucky.

William McClure (1835-1889) and his wife, Louisa Booth McClure (b. 1841), had six children, 1865-1872.
