Johannes (John) Albrecht was born in 1695 in Germany. He married Anna Barbara in 1715 in Germany. Their son, Jacob (1727-1791/92), was born in Berks, Pennsylvania and married Sophia Catherine Welder in 1746. Both died in Orange, North Carolina. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Missouri, Washington, and elsewhere. Many descendants changed surname to "Albright".
