"This book is divided into three sections. The first is a memorial section to Mrs. May Jassamine Bland James [1899-1989] ... Second is a section that I call 'The English connection.' This deal with a brief study I made regarding the origin of the Curds, and the question of whether or not Eward Curd was, in fact, our immigrant ancestor. There is little doubt but that we are of English origin ... However there is a serious question in my mind as to whether it might have been Edward's father, whomever he may have been, rather than Edward, that is our immigrant ancestor ... The third section is a compilation of update and new information which I received from our Curds ...".

Curd family members listed lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and throughout the United States.

Includes information on the Morriss, Hollingsworth, Hereford, Barnett, Williamson and other connected families.
