Probate records for the combined Jæren and Dalane judicial districts in Rogaland county. They include these places: Sokndal, Lund, Heskestad, Helleland, Bjerkreim, Egersund, Ogna, Varhaug, Nærbø, Klepp, Lye (Time), Gjestal, Høyland, Sandnes, Hetland, Randaberg, Sola, Hå, Håland and Madla. For later probate records see the separated Jæren judicial district and Dalane judicial district. The probate records usually contain the date of probate, name of the deceased, names of heirs, guardians and trustees, inventory lists, land and holdings, and other miscellaneous information.
