Microfilm of original records at the Virginia State Library in Richmond, Virginia.
The 1992 filming was filmed lighter than the older filming and the cover folders were filmed for each list which creates a small break. Older filming filmed the years 1832-1861 without the covers or any breaks.
Some documents were damaged.
Arranged in alphabetical order by the first letter of the surname for each year. Lists give name of person taxed or tithed, type and amount of taxable property, amount of tax, and the county statistics.
