Microfilm of originals in the Office of the County Superintendent at the Ellis County courthouse in Arnett, Oklahoma.
Ellis County was organized in 1907 from Woodward County and half of Day County (formerly known as "E" County in Oklahoma Territory).
Some books used are bank books, some books out of sequence, some books difficult to read (i.e. faded, torn, etc.).
