Beginning with volume 5 the information is arranged basically by date of death. The amount of information provided varies with later years being more complete than earlier years. Volumes 1-4 are arranged by time periods and then the person reporting the death and use of the individual indexes for those volumes is necessary to find names. Dates overlap in most volumes.

The general index begins with volume 5 and refers to the sequential number given to each death as it was recorded. These numbers are included with the film numbers, volumes and dates. Index volume 2 has some 54,000 numbers which are out of date sequence. The individual indexes for volumes 1-4 are to page number.

Includes a general index for volumes 5-13 and individual indexes for volumes 1-4.
