Consists of lists submitted to the Hawaiian government by local authorities.

Beginning in 1884, the lists of marriages were normally submitted on a quarterly basis and were used to compile two indexed volumes of marriage records covering the entire kingdom. These original lists, as filmed, are incomplete.
