Chiefly a record of some of the ancestors and descendants of Frederick Kesler. He was born 20 Jan 1816 at Meadville, Pennsylvania. He married Emeline Parker 20 May 1836 in Augusta, Iowa. He and his wife became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in June 1840. They came to the Salt Lake Valley on 1 Oct 1851. He was ordained a Bishop 7 Apr 1856 and served for 43 years. He died 12 June 1899. He was also married to Jane ELizabeth Pratt on 20 Mar 1854, and to Abigail D. Snow on 21 Apr 1857. Emeline died 21 Feb 1896, Jane died 23 Nov 1912, Abigail died 2 Oct 1907. He and Emeline were the parents of eleven children. He and Jane were the parents of thirteen children. He and Abigail were the parents of six children. Descendants lived in Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and elsewhere.

Ancestors include: Wilhelm Keszler and Elizabeth -- Frederick Kesler and Anna Leinau -- Frederick Kessler and Mary Lindsay.
