Estate inventories are divided into two primary sections: the preamble or ingress, which gives information about the deceased and names the heirs, and the inventory, which details the deceased’s assets and debts. The presentation will provide a short historical background, show the participant how to find these records, and offer tips on reading and interpreting them.
