My Calling: Temple and Family History ConsultantWhat Is My Focus?
As a ward temple and family history consultant, you help individuals and families come unto Christ as they participate in family history and temple work (General Handbook 25.2.4).
The steps below will help you get started.

"The doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints centers on the family. Essential to our doctrine on the family is the temple. The ordinances received there enable us to return as eternal families to the presence of our Heavenly Father."
—President Dallin H. Oaks, “The Family-Centered Gospel of Jesus Christ”

Always Focus First on the Savior
As you invite members to worship in the house of the Lord and perform ordinances for ancestors, start with the Savior. Share how temple covenants and ordinances bind us to the Savior, help us feel guidance and comfort, and strengthen us with His protection and power. Learn More
