Mark Peterson

Mark Peterson has a Ph.D. from Harvard in Asian Studies and is a specialist in Korean social history. He is Professor Emeritus after teaching Korean language, literature, and history at Brigham Young University for 33 and retired in 2018. Currently, he is actively operating the YouTube channel Frog Outside the Well and writes a regular column for the Korea Times in Seoul. He is also active in lecturing and presenting seminars on Korean history and literature.
