Where can I find the Family History Library webinars?

The Family History Library in Salt Lake City offers free webinars each month. Webinar information is posted on the FamilySearch Wiki. Use the steps below to find information, including links to the live schedule, recordings of past webinars, and handouts:

Steps (website)

  1. Sign in to FamilySearch.org.
  2. Click Search.
  3. In the drop-down menu, click Research Wiki.
  4. Enter Webinars into the search box, and press Enter
  5. In the search results, click Family History Library.
  6. To find schedules for live classes and webinars, scroll down and click Classes and Online Webinars
  7. If you clicked Classes and Online Webinars, scroll down and click the schedule that interests you. 

The webinars are recorded and posted in the FamilySearch Learning Center. You will find a wide variety of topics in family history and genealogical research.

Steps (mobile app)

The FamilySearch Wiki feature is currently not available on the Family Tree mobile app. If you are on a mobile device, visit the FamilySearch Wiki using your internet browser instead of the app.

Steps (Family Tree Lite)

The FamilySearch Wiki feature is currently not available for Family Tree Lite. Visit the full website to view webinars.
