How do I mark a blank indexing field?

You may come across a document that does not have information for one of the fields in the data entry. Here is what to do:

  • If an asterisk (*) follows the field name, the field is a required field and must be filled to submit the batch. To mark a field blank, press Ctrl+B (PC),  CMD+B ​(Mac), or use the Mark the field blank button on the toolbar.
  • If no asterisk follows the field name, the field is not a required field, and you can skip it if no information is available. To skip a field, press Tab.
