How do I find the records I last viewed in Family Tree using the Recents feature?

Recents is a feature on the FamilySearch Home Page, in the Tree views and on the Person Page.

Recents includes these items:

  • A search bar to find a person by name or ID
  • A link to the root person (account holder), if the root and starting person are different.
  • A link to the starting person
  • A list of the most recent 50 records viewed
  • A link to "+ Add Unconnected Person" at bottom of Recents list.

Note: When an ancestor is a starting person, the ancestor appears as the second person in the Recents list, above the line and below the original starting person.
