How do I change the language of my email notifications?

On the FamilySearch website, you can choose the language for your email notifications. You can choose from English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Steps (website)

  1. Sign in to FamilySearch, click your name in the upper-right corner, then click Settings.
  2. Click Notifications.
  3. Click Edit Language, and click your preferred language. Language names show in that language.

Steps (mobile app)

The Family Tree and Memories mobile apps do not provide an option to change your preferred language for email notifications.

Steps (Family Tree Lite)

Family Tree Lite does not provide an option to change your preferred language for email notifications.
