At BYU he revolutionized the services offered to students and patrons, bringing the blessings of family history work to a far wider audience. He was active on many genealogical committees and served as chair on many. "His great joy was helping everyone, especially young people, find belonging through connecting personally with their ancestors."

We thank him for his selfless contributions to the family history industry and community, and miss him daily.
