RootsTech by FamilySearch, the world’s largest online family history celebration enhanced by a local in-person experience in Salt Lake City, Utah, returns March 6–8, 2025, with the global theme of "Discover".

Whether it’s uncovering your unique family story, following the clues to a surprising new connection, or discovering an inner strength and resiliency you never knew you had, this year’s conference theme captures the surprising, life-changing power of family history.

11 Emcees Will Host in 11 Different Languages

Living up to its promise of “world’s largest family history event,” RootsTech 2025 will feature an unprecedented team of 11 global emcees to host the 3-day event and provide commentary in 11 different languages. The emcees will customize the RootsTech experience for the audience watching online by sharing stories, interviewing speakers, and serving as a bridge to more localized content—all in the language the viewer has chosen to participate in online.
