Russian Historical Geography

This course will cover a brief history of the Kievan Rus, Grand Duchy of Muscovy, the emergence and fall of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union, and how history and geography have influenced genealogical research. We'll also discuss important Russian Empire jurisdictions that influenced record keeping.
